General conditions
VACCINES
Neither vaccine nor treatment against malaria is required for travelers coming from Europe. If you are coming from a different country outside of Europe, information can be obtained from the ministry of foreign affairs of your country.
PASSPORT, VISAS AND EMBASSIES
It is mandatory to hold a valid passport. The need for a visa depends on your nationality – check with your local embassies and consulates for guidance with respect to visa issues before beginning your trip.
• Passport:
To avoid any mishap when arriving to Morocco, check that your passport is current, with an expiration date at least 3 months later than the date of arrival to Morocco.
• Visa:
There is no visa requirement for citizens of the European Union, Switzerland or Canada. For all nationalities, the duration of tourist stay may not exceed 90 days.
• Embassies and Consulates:
When preparing for your trip, note the address of the embassy or consulate of your country in the Moroccan region where you will be traveling to in case you lose your documentation and/or if you need other assistance (health, safety, etc.). All diplomatic delegations usually have an emergency phone number in case of an emergency. There is also a social service that can help in case of an emergency.
LUGGAGE
Check with your airline what the maximum weight for luggage is. If we arranged the tickets for you, XalucaTours will provide you with all the necessary information.
